Hi: I am forwarding this message concerning Capps. Nan ============== Capps: I am kin to a bunch of Capps. My grandmother, Pauline Walker, was a Capps. Her father was Lester W. Capps. Lester Capps married Maudie Victory. Maudie was the daughter of William and Jane that is mentioned above about the Stewarts. Lester Capps was born in 1891 in Jackson County, Arkansas. I have absolutly nothing on him except his birth and after he was married. I have looked for almost a year on who his parents were but cannot find anything. I have checked the whole state of Arkansas for 1900, and 1910 and found nothing. I know also that he had a half brother named John Bainster. He lived in Enid, Oklahoma for a long time. I really don't know if there could be a connection with my Capp's and yours or just what. I know that he was married in Alica, Lawrence Co., Arkansas in 1917. He lived their for a while and had 3 kids: Novella, Arvil, and Pauline. Pauline is my grandmother. They moved to Pocahontas in 1929, and have lived there ever since.
