On April 3, 1886 Frank Ibbotson founded the first newspaper in Mulberry. It was in the form of a six column folio. since then it has had many owners and many names, among them, The Mulberry Weekly Times,The Mulberry Gimlet, and last of all the Crawford County Bulletin. The last owner was Lee R. McDaniel. No, there is no longer a paper in the town. They use the Crawford Co Press Argus from Van Buren. Mr. McDaniel was the editor until he retired The Times was the first paper. I can find out for you if no one knows, but I don't think the records are available.
