    3. Janette, I will bring you some more strawberry "chits" for your collection. They are from the 1880s and go 1 qt, 2 qt, 4 , 8 & 12. Like you said they are each different color. Also I will come to your Friends of Genealogy meeting on Sunday afternoon. Virginia will not come because we sing at the Shiloh museum in Springdale each 4th Sunday afternoon. I still owe you for the Creekmore cookbooks. Instead of paying in money, when you took your quarts up you got tickets instead. They were different colors for each level, 2quarts, 4qts etc. After the farmer took the berries to market and got his money, you went back to the field and turned in your tickets for money. Each farmer had his name printed on the tickets therefore you did not pay for workers that worked for someone else. I have a number of these with different names on them. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to ARCRAWFO-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
