Ms Perryman, I have two relatives that moved to Crawford County from Bartow County, Ga. They are brothers. The first one to move to near Mulberry is Wiley Franklin Nichols. He was there at the time of the 1870 census(name spelled Nicholes) He was a Confederate vet and drew a pension from the State of Arkansas. He died between Sep of 1915 and Sep of 1916. His brother William, a blacksmith in Mulberry, was there by the time of the 1900 census. I found a death of a William Nichols in Crawford County on Mar 8, 1928. I would appreciate your checking for any obits for these two men. Wiley Nichols' wife was Mary Jane Whitlock. William Nichols first wife was Mary Josephine Wade who died Mar 19 1907 in Mulberry and is buried at Quesenberry Cemetery there. He then married Ada Westbrook, probably in Crawford County. Would you have time to look up Eli Henson b. abt 1836 in TN and his wife Martha A. Dodd Henson b. abt 1833 in IN. married Jan. 12,1855 in Polk co., MO. They were living in Vine Prairie, Crawford co., AR on the 1880 census. I don't have a death date. Any info would be very much appreciated.
