Looking for someone with resources for Crawford Co. AR. Marriages in the 1850's time frame. I have no definet month or day date. I estimate before Oct. 1859 since that was the birth of their first child. Need marriage info on John Crockett Pierce b. 1834, & Dulcinia Dell Daggs, b. 1839. I believe that they married in Crawford Co. since the first child was born there in Oct. 1859. Any help or suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance. Shirley in OK.

Hi Shirley, The Crawford County, Ar. Court house burned in 1877. The marriage records prior to March, 1877 were destroyed. Maybe you can find an old bible record, or a news paper listing the marriage.
