Hello, can you find anything on my Grandparents, Marion Monroe Speer and Dicie O'berry Dudley? They lived in Hot Springs Arkansas. Grandpa was born there on January 1, 1879. My Mother Eva Marie Speer was born in Hot Springs on October 14, 1910. There are Merriotts, Graves, Blockers, Bailey's, Phillips and many more names in my family line. My Grandfather had one brother, William Thomas Speer, and a sister Amanda Speer. I have heard that my Grandfathers sister never married, but several people said she was. My Grandparents had 13 children (I think). They left Arkansas and moved to Texas, but I am not sure when they moved. They migrated on to California around 1948 when my Parents moved us out here. They lived in Farmersville, CA for several years. I heard that my Grandmother's family were from Kentucky, but have never found anything to tell me that they were. All my relatives are gone now, except one Aunt, who still lives in Tx., but she isn't sure about some of the things I mentioned. I would like to find out just where they lived while they were in Arkansas. My Grandfather donated land for a church in Hot Springs, and he played his fiddle at some of the dances they held there. My Grandparents lived with my Parents for several years, and were both living with them when they passed away. Grandpa died at Letterman Hospital, just over the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. My Grandmother died in Novato, CA, on this side of San Francisco, both in Marin County, CA. I have been trying to put together a pattern of where they lived, but am not having much luck finding anything. Anything you can find on them would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch.
