May I jump in and add my question? I am wondering if my great grandfather is mentioned in the book on Crawford County. His name was Uriah Waldron or Walden. He was in Richland from at least 1860 to 1895. Unfortunately he was illiterate so we dont have any proof of what the last name actually is. My grandmother said it was Waldron, but it was not always spelled that way in the census or his marriage records. He was married 3 times that I know of. Nancy Jane; Daisy Wells; Millie Cramine. I believe that he died in Crawford County as I he was quite elderly in the late 1890's. My grandmother lost contact with the family when she moved to Indian Territory with her husband. Any help would be appreciated. -- Bev Stay young. You'll live longer.
