About 1812 Martin Collier and wife Mary Bell Anderson moved into Arkansas . They had come down the Natchez Trail from Virginia. Their home sight was not in Crawford County, it was near Hot Springs County in the Mt. Ida area. I am wondering if perhaps your Stella M. Collier and Pearl Collier might not be descendents of that family tree? There were many boys who carried on the Collier name. Jefferson Collier had articles written about him and his home sight. There is a Creek named for the Collier's close to that site and to a park. Perhaps there is no connection....was just wondering if perhaps there might be?
