    3. A land patent record tells the following information: Patentee's name, Volume and Page Number, Land Office, Date, Doc. and Misc. and Doc. Numbers, Transaction Type, Warraniee's Name, Multiple Patentees, Remarks, Description Part Number, Twp and Range. These do not include patents issued after 30 June 1908, when the new record keeping program began in the General Land Office. If a transaction was canceled it will most likely not be included in the book. I have one on Crawford, Washington, and Carroll Co. of Arkansas. I am going to get one on Franklin Co. 3. Ms. Perryman: Would your patent records show any information on John Ratliff, Job Ratliff, William Ratliff, James Ratliff or Thompson Ratliff? Time frame would be about 1826 - 1840. Counties would probably be Washington and Crawford. Thanks you, JoRetta Lewis ----- Original Message ----- From: Janette Perryman<mailto:janettesworld@sbcglobal.net> To: ARCRAWFO-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:ARCRAWFO-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 25, 2006 7:46 PM Subject: [ARCRAWFORD] Arkansas Land Patents A land patent record tells the following information: Patentee's name, Volume and Page Number, Land Office, Date, Doc. and Misc. and Doc. 3. Janette, I have better information now about the Land Patent books at The Crawford County Genealogy Library. There are two Franklin County books, 1. Franklin County Land Patents by Virginia McPail , Arkansas Historical Commission, One Capital Mall, Little Rock, Ar. 72221. It starts in 1828 and is organized by land definition ( Section, Township, Range) 2. Franklin Land Patents from Arkansas Research, P.O. Box 303 Conway, Air 72032 This is organized by grantee name and goes until 1908. Hope this helps Best, Gail -----Original Message----- From: Janette Perryman [mailto:janettesworld@sbcglobal.net] Sent: Tuesday, July 25, 2006 7:47 PM To: ARCRAWFO-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [ARCRAWFORD] Arkansas Land Patents A land patent record tells the following information: Patentee's name, Volume and Page Number, Land Office, Date, Doc. and Misc. and Doc.
