Looking for information on William Higgs born abt 1799 in VA he is living in Crawford Co on the 1850, 1860 & 1870 census can't find him before or after this date. His wife was Margaret or Peggy and had a sons William & John and daughter Elizabeth she was born in IL abt 1840 any information would be wonderful. The Carlilse surname intertwines with this family I believe there might have also been an older daughter named Mary who married a Carlilse (Carlile). Thank you! Robin Smith
