JoRetta, Try this link....you can search for any land patent. It will ask for your zip code just to track areas utilizing their recoreds. It will give you various infor as listed in the posted e-mail as well as show you a copy of the land grant that you can save to a file I believe once you give your zip code and the home page comes up, SEARCH is at the top of their page....it's easy to overlook and I've spent a lot of time reading all the blogs on the page and gotten frustrated before I realized this. http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/Logon/Logon-Form.asp You can search by the complete name or by the last name only (this one is required). You can also narrow you search by selecting the state the grant is in. Hope this helps.
