Claud/ Lea King, Here is a short story of my King, Riley & London connections. 1 - I am researching John Dee King, b. 07 Feb 1914 d. 04 Aug 1967 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas, son of Calvin A King and Margaret/Maggie L> King. John Dee King married Marquetta Lois Prothro (b. 20 Nov 1918 d. 09 Nov 1999 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County. They had three children, Joyce, Bobby Dee and John Wayne King. 2. - Thomas Patrick RILEY, my grandfather, was born 14 Oct 1873 or 1875 in Denver, Colorado (per the information provided by his daughters) and died 09 May 1953 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas. My grandmother was Mary Josephine (Crawford) CRAUGHEN; she was born 31 May 1881 in Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas and died 25 Jan 1951 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas. She married Thomas Patrick RILEY 26 Feb 1906 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas 3. -Francis Marion "Frank" SILMON, my great-grandfather, was born 25 Mar 1875 in Craighead Co., AR and died 12 May 1942 in Paragould, Greene Co, AR. He is buried in Linwood Cemetery in Paragould. His parents were Unknown SILMON and LOUISA WORTHAM who was born Abt. 1846 in Arkansas, and died 1885 in Grubbs, Jackson County, Arkansas. She married (1) SUTHERLAND. She married (2) SILMON. She married (3) MARCUS LONDON m 16 January 1878 in Jackson County, Arkansas. He was born Abt 1840 in Marshall County, Tennessee, and died 18 January 1907 in Grubbs, Jackson County, Arkansas. Happy to share more info or to receive any additional info on my ancestors.
