Hi Duncan, When you are on a mail list like this one you get a copy of every message posted to the list. There is a John S. Jones, born 12-15-1834-died 7-7-1902 in Bolton Cemetery. Bolton may or may not be in Whitley twsp, as township lines move with the population increase. The township may have been Whitley, in 1902 and be something else now. Baxter Cemetery is not listed among the 120 cemeteries in the 911 Emergency Directory of Crawford County. Give me your brothers name and where you think Baxter was located and I will check it out. The 911 Directory does not have all of the cemeteries.
