    1. Re: [ARCRAWFO] The trip from VA to AR
    2. Hello, I know that Mary McLaughlin from VA was a widow, who married Hiram Walters, who I believe went through Illinois as well. They would have had to come through Missouri before getting to NW Arkansas, but I don't know where, specifically. Where is Adair county? -Angela- -----Original Message----- From: janettesworld@sbcglobal.net To: ARCRAWFO@rootsweb.com Sent: Fri, 26 Jan 2007 12:31 PM Subject: [ARCRAWFO] The trip from VA to AR Did your Walters come through the north part of Missouri? 1. [ARCRAWFO] From VA to IL to Crawford Co. Ark
    2. Hello Does anyone have information about the trek from Virginia to Illinois to NW Arkansas? I am interested in learning about those who have made that journey in the 1830s. I am interested in learning about Mary McLaughlin Walters who was among a group of people who settled in Dripping Springs in the 1830s and I am interested in learning whether there was a specific group of people who arrived around the same time in Crawford County. Mary Walters daughter married into the Harrell line of Dripping Springs. I know that she also was from Virginia, went through Illinois, then arrived in NW Arkansas like one of the previous posters mentioned on the Ratliff line. What part of VA did the families come from? Were all of them from the same part of VA? Did any of them have ties to NC? Any facts will be appreciated. Thank you. -Angela- ________________________________________________________________________ Check out the new AOL. Also I will come to your Friends of Genealogy meeting on Sunday afternoon. Virginia will not come because we sing at the Shiloh museum in Springdale each 4th Sunday afternoon. I still owe you for the Creekmore cookbooks.
