It has over 500 photo's with stories and other information concerning there great men and women. So we are a little busy at the time but we would like to print an addition to this book at another time. There is still so much out there to be recorded. We have such a great group of people that work so hard to preserve the history of Crawford Co. Let me know if you need a book. Janette
I am searching for information on both Cooks and Riddles in Crawford County between about 1880 and 1920. The migration was from Independence County to Scott and then to Crawford. Names include Elijah Cook, Enoch (Bud Cook), Robert Riddle, Rainwater, Perry. Any leads with these last names for Crawford would be appreciated. rsignett@comcast.net

Good Morning Janette, If you were seeing my names and the book for the first time do you think it would be worth 75$.I'm like the others right now that's a lot of money when will you need it if and does that include postage. Would love to see my family in print usually its my grandfathers brother John's family Roan,John etc. but I don't think they ever came to Crawford County.I dont know when they moved to Crawford County or why they all seemed to settle around Dyer,Mulberry and Alma. Thanks Linda Janette Perryman <janettesworld@sbcglobal.net> wrote: Linda, I forgot to add your names, I found a lot of Harness, and Weaver but no Cooksey. Thank each one of you and I will try to look up as much as I can, the following names appear in the index of the book: Howell 57 times; Howard 15 times; Yound 58 times; and these I did not count but they are listed some many times: Rozells, Burrow, Chitwood, Hamilton, Hammack/ock ; Harrison; Hopkins; Marcum; Osborn; Oxford; Pierce; Scott; Kelly's but not Coomer. It is the same book that was printed about five years ago. It is 8 1/2 X 11 1/2 inches, hard back, 647 pages and Biographical Appendix Hope that this helps.
I have to agree with Anne. .in today's rising economy this is a good deal of money . Is there anyone that can tell me if there are RATLIFF'S in the book? John and his wife Annie Dobbs with sons, Job, James, Thompson and William were al in Crawford County ( and a little in Washington County) by about 1828. John and wife Annie would die in Crawford and are buried there...somewhere. The son's would move on but not until the 1840's. Between 1828 and the time of departure, many other Ratliff descendents were born in Crawford County. Archillus P. Ratliff was born in Crawford county in February 1829. Eight...or possibly nine of his siblings were born in Crawford County from 1831 up to about 1844. Arch was the son of Guilford Ratliff. All four sons of John Ratliff had children born in Crawford County Arkansas as well as other Arkansas Counties. I am interested in the Book of Crawford County..... Are their Ratliff Families listed? I am new to the Crawford Couty, list and would be interested if the sir names of Kelley or Coomer are listed, could possibly be variations of the spelling, and if anyone would have any info on Jesse H. Coomer, or Mary Lockey Coomer. Jesse H. Coomer was a sergeant in Co G of the AR 34th Infantry. Thanks, Kenneth N.
