I recently discovered that my gg grandmother was married in Conway County. On Otober 18, 1880 she married John W. Shackelford. Her name on the marriage license is listed at Mrs. Sarah E. Elliott and she was 27 years old at the time of her marriage. Does anyone have any clues as to how to determine what Sarah's maiden name was? Mr. Shackelford died in about 1884 is is buried in Morrilton. It has been said that Sarah went back to her family in Dardenelle when he passed away. Any help would be appreciated as I am at a brick wall with this one .. . Kathy Lohmeyer
