>From the Log Cabin Democrat of Conway, Faulkner, AR: http://www.thecabin.net JENKINS Mrs. Ruthie Flood Jenkins, 94, of Twin Groves died Wednesday (Sept. 1, 1999) at Conway Regional Medical Center. Born April 16, 1905, at Center Ridge (Conway County), a daughter of Bronner and Nancy Riley Flood, she was a homemaker, a member of Zion Grove Baptist Church, a reporter for the Petit Jean Country Headlight in Morrilton and the widow of Alex Jenkins Sr. She is survived by two sons, Carvis Jenkins of Flint, Mich., and Alex Jenkins Jr. of Little Rock; a daughter, Louise Thompson of Flint, Mich.; 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Grove Baptist Church in Twin Groves, with the Rev. James Smith and Elder Frank Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Zion Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Pallbearers will be Bronner Brown, Greg Brown, Lovell Jenkins, Wefus Tyus, Sifus Thompson Jr. and Charles Alford.
