Does anyone have access to census records or an index for Conway Co. for the years of 1880 or 1900? I need to place the Henry Clay Conrad family here during that time period. Wife's name was Luvenia (?), children were Luther Henry, Robert "Lock", Arthur, Willie (the only girl), and William Harvey (my grandfather). I very much appreciate any help with this family line. Thank you, Jo-Ann Stephens Bahai@netusa1.net
This is new, so there may be a bug or two. I noticed the link to the Conway Co. site is not up yet, but it should be corrected soon. There is a new resource, Classified Ads Boards, that can now be found from a link on the cluster page for our county. As you know the Cluster page serves as a navigation aid to all resources for the county housed on RootsWeb. The Cluster page for Clay County can be found at: http://resources.rootsweb.com/USA/AR/Conway/ You know that advertising (even when it can be helpful in our genealogical research) is generally not allowed on our mailing list and GenConnect boards. In an effort to help genealogists locate genealogical items, or list items being offered for sale, for example, out of print books you might be looking to sell or purchase, RootsWeb has created Classifieds at RootsWeb. These Classified Ad Boards work in the same way the GenConnect boards work, and are only to be used for items of a genealogical nature pertaining to the county shown on the board. These boards provide an outlet to help in our research for items that couldn't be properly listed elsewhere on RootsWeb. Enjoy them and use them to your best advantage! Cathy Barnes List Owner
Hi everyone, Most of you have probably heard the LDS Church is distributing copies of it's genealogical program, Personal Ancestral File version 4 at it's website, for *FREE*. You can get it at this site... http://www.familysearch.org/OtherResources/paf4/ I just downloaded it and put Gedcom in from Family Tree Maker to test it. Everything went well. There were some errors, apparently PAF does not recognize the data added to your FTM files from the FTM CD's. Other than that, it looks good, notes & all. Cathy Barnes

Hi: I would be very interested in finding a record of my husband's gg-grandparents Abram & Mary Jones. We have information that they were married 0n 29 Mar 1843 in Jerusalem, Conway County, Arkansas. Abram was born 19 May,1815 and Mary Freeman Jones born 29 Aug,1819. It would be great to have a record to verify this marriage. Thanks! Marietta
