Good evening everyone. I am looking for any information on THOMAS NISLER b about 1872 and MARY HENRIETTA PLUMMER born about 1871 who were married December 12, 1893. I am specifically interested in the names of any children of this couple. Thanks very much. David Plummer Jacksonville, Florida
I am looking for information on the Arnold family that lived in or near the town of Choctaw in Conway County. The time period is before and after the Civil War. I can go back to three brothers. They were Will, George, and James. Family history says that their father was killed during the Civil War. There is a man named Pitts Bennett that plays a role in the family. One story says that he took over the farm when the boys father died. My grandfather believes that Pitts Bennett was their uncle, their mother's brother. Another relative recounts how that Pitts Bennett took in an orphaned Indian girl and raised her. Will Arnold eventually married her and the only name I have for her is Bennett. Will and James came to Texas some time after the Civil War. George never left Arkansas. George had two daughters. One, Frankie married a Martin. The other, Mildred married a Bradley. They had two sons. One of George's descendant's spouse had a barber shop in Clinton. George, Will, and James' parents were buried in a cemetery that was covered up when a lake was made. They are said to be Cherokee. And there is a family tradition of being Masons but I don't know how far back it goes. Anyone related to these people or who has information regarding them please contact me. I sent a letter to Morrilton requesting a copy of a birth for 1882....they said they don't keep any birth info and to request from Little Rock. But I have read where Little Rock Vital does not have birth before Feb 1, 1914. So my question is where in the heck is the birth info prior to 1914. Help. Dennis Lacefield, Houston
I noticed the street said Heifer Creed. In a place as small as Springfield, she'd get her mail, but thought I should correct this. Why do I always notice this stuff just after I hit the send button?
