    3. My line(s) connect with yours several times. 1. My g-g-grandfather, Thadeus Kosciesko McCoy, married your Eliza Jane Ramsey. 2. my g-g-grandmother, Nancy C. Stroud-Vaughan married your Robert W. Ramsey, after her first husband died in 1899. These are two different sides of my family. Daughter of T.K. McCoy and his first wife Tennessee Miller was Bertha McCoy who married Guy McKinley Vaughan who was a son of Nancy C. Stroud-Vaughan-Ramsey and her first husband John Cagle Vaughan. Although I am not blood related to your Ramsey's they kept popping up in my research, and thought maybe I might have some info to share with you. Thadeus McCoy 1858-1936 (known as T.K.) was first married to Tennessee Miller, when she died in 1894, they had 4 children, she died in childbirth with my great grandmother, Bertha Mary Josephine McCoy. Afterwards, T.K. married Eliza Ramsey, and they had 9 more children before her death in 1948. Alot of this line is buried at Mt.Zion Cemetery in Conway Co., between Jerusalem and Appleton. Nancy Carolyn Stroud 1873-aft.1910 married John Cagle Vaughan in 1889. They had 4 children before his death in 1899. Sometime between 1900-1910 Nancy marries Robert W. Ramsey, his father William was a neighbor of theirs, and on the other side of them lived T.K. McCoy and Eliza. Nancy and Robert had at least 3 children after their marriage, I lost them after the 1910 Census, but I know that my great grandfather, Guy M. Vaughan was very close to Robert (his step father) and to his half brothers/sisters? He must have been a good man. Are you totally confused yet? Small world isn't it? At least in Conway County...:) Let me know if you are interested in more. Mr. Shackelford died in about 1884 is is buried in Morrilton. It has been said that Sarah went back to her family in Dardenelle when he passed away. 3. I am posting this to warn others about problems with ; Census Microfilm Expeditors 476 E. South Temple , Suite 4 Salt Lake City , UT 84111 website ; www.censusmicrofilm.com e-mail ; gme@nwinfo.net I was lured to order several microfilm copies from this company with "guarantees" of "speedy delivery" and "low price" . My order was placed in October of 1998 and as of this posting I have not received the order or a refund after numerous contacts with Steven Jensen at this firm . In his occasional replies he repeatedly gave false information to me as to the status of the order and cashed the check when mentioned stopping payment on it .I have copies of all documents and correspondences for those interested . Complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and the United States Postal Inspectors , they have informed me that even they can't order this company to give a refund , but may seek criminal charges . I guess small claims court is next . If you are seeking genealogy resources......consider my experiences with this "Firm". Thank you , Kenneth Sartin

    3. I am trying to find information about my gg grandmother. I know that when she married my gg grandfather (John W. Shackelford) in 1880, her name was listed as Mrs. Sarah E. If anyone has Elliott lines that might mention a Sarah showing a possible deceased husband around that time, I would be very interested. At this point, I have no idea what her maiden name was and can't get past this point. Thanks for any help you can give me.
