Hi Michelle, I feel that John M. and Payton Letcher are brothers, but have not made the connection. I am workings with Mike who is a greatgrandson of John M. Parker. I have a bill of sale for land in Hot Springs Co. from Payton Letcher to John M. On the land records in Columbia Co they are on land that is close to each other. Both Payton and John M. Had sons named John C. born in Hot Springs Co. only 2 years apart. On the Columbia Co. web page it states that Parkers were early settlers in Columbia Co. I was wondering if they are our Parkers. I live only 4 or 5 hours from Columbia Co. I need to come and see what I can find, but finding time is a problem. Thanks Ellen Parker
