I was told by Mayor Lane Jean last October that his gggrandfather, Bartlett Barker Jean, and his family were in a wagon train that left Georgia in 1865 settling in Columbia County, AR, naming the community Atlanta in reference to Atlanta, GA. I am interested in the other surnames (families) that travelled in that same wagon train to Atlanta, AR. I believe Bartlett's sister, Sarah A. (Jean) Kight, and her family were amongst the folks in that wagon train. Does anyone out there know about this? Thanks, Diane
