I think it is entirely apropos to tell the list who you are searching for in Columbia Co. After all that is what the list is for in the first place. It may be best to start a new letter and say, "1880 census, Smith family", for instance. Then those who don't want to read them, can use the delete button. I will look up your people in Arkansas too, as it seems some of you may be having trouble finding them in Columbia Co. I will try to find them, even if they did not quite make it to Ark by then. Please give full names, dates, spouses' name, and some children, if you know them. Even the unusual names have twins out there! Carleen
I agree with you all. Genealogy is helping people. Who knows, someone may request a lookup for a surname someone else had no idea might have been in Columbia County.
