Dan, I am interested in your Reeves/Reaves family. While I am not descended from the Reeves, it is a related family. The children of Jeremiah Reeves and Elizabeth Scroggins lived in Columbia County. Jane, I have two Jeremiah Reeves in my file.� Interestingly enough, the first one I found was born around 1800 and is married to a Jane Brazile.� Is this a form of your name?� At the time of Jeremiah's birth, they were in NC, but I don't know where they hooked up, so I don't know where the Brazile name came in. My other Jermiah (I don't know if I misspelled this or if I got it right and it is a variation of Jeremiah, I will look in the hard copies) was the sone of Jesse Reeves and was also born in Guilford County, NC, about 1780.� I don't have an exact date, however his father was born in 1760.� I don't have a spouse or any other info on this Jermiah.
