George W. Graham was my ggrandfather and my late mother always said that he was from Van Buren but she thought the town across the river from Fort Smith. That has been our problem all these years of looking in the wrong place. The age isn't quite right as we thought 1855 but I know that isn't always the case. My grandfather (1 of George's sons)was born in Fort Smith in 1887 so that is probably where the confusion came in. Thank you so much for the information.
