I don't know the website, but if you type in SAU library, Magnolia, AR Larry Taylor photos you can find it. Look for Historical Photographs of Southwest Arkansas and scroll down to Larry Taylor Collection, Centennial Parade, May 8, 1952. I am not good on the computer, but I hope you can find the picture. No birth or death certificates for either one. Sr. was in Black River, Arkansas in 1880. The census for that area shows his name as "Mr. Brady" living with the Cole family. I found marriage records for Marion Francis Brady and Elizabeth Ann Cole..... Are you related to the Brady family? Stevens has a brother William Thomas Stevens born 1860 and died 1940. William Thomas Stevens is my g g grandfather. Marcus Young (M.Y.) Stevens is William T Stevens, Jonathan F. Stevens, Nancy Elizabeth Stevens Burns father. Marcus Young is my g g g grandfather. William T Stevens had a son Thomas Marion Stevens that was married to Louella Cobb Stevens. Thomas & Louella had an infant son Thomas C Stevens that died as an infant. They also had William Marion Stevens (my grandfather), Billie Jo Stevens McCalman (adopted) and Patricia Dell Stevens Wallace. William T Stevens, M.Y. Stevens and Nancy Stevens are buried at Old Shongaloo in Louisiana. Thomas & Louella Cobb Stevens are buried at Forest Grove. I believe William T. Stevens had a wife Ella D. Stevens. But his marker in the cemetery also has a Nancy A. Stevens buried next to him. So, I am trying to put that puzzle together. Supposidly there was a Stevens Store located 5 miles SW of Emerson Arkansas that I am trying to find the history of. If anyone knows of this line of Stevens family, please let me know if you have anything on them. Thanks Kristy Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
