Now I wonder if anyone on this list sees a connection of Mary THOMPSON to their Thompson family? There are a number of Thompsons buried in Watts Cemetery on the Nevada/Columbia Co. line, but I do not think Mary is a direct descendant of these Thompsons. If she is, I don't have her listed. Debbra, Does Book A contain the marriage of Ezekiel Strickland n 5-26-1834, died 4-9-1864 Battle of Pleasant Hill, La and Mary Elizabeth Leverett 3-16-1856? They lived in Dorcheat, Columbia Co., Ar (he was a pig farmer). I have no idea where she lived after his death except in Texas where she died 1920. They are all buried at the old Green cemetry near Shiloh cemetry. These are my GGgrandparents on the Clark and Reaves sides.Thornberry A. Clark b.1822 d. 1855 and Elizabeth Burgess had Thornberry Lewis Clark b.1852, who is my Ggrandfather on the Clark side. George W. Reaves and Elizabeth Burgess Clark had Andrew Jackson Reaves b.1864, He is my Ggrandfather on the Reaves side. The 3rd genaration Beatrice Clark b.1892 (daughter of Thornberry Lewis Clark) and Elbert Green Reaves b. 1890(son of Andrew Jackson Reaves) married and had my mother. Doris, Could you please check the marriage records for a marriage of John HAYNES? I think, from the 1860 Columbia Co. census, that his wife's first name may have been Mary. They would probably have married sometime between 1850 and 1857, when their first child Edward was born. Thank you!
