The only thing near the truth that I have found came from, "The Familytree HeritageLibrary". www.familytreeheritagelibrary.com. I contacted them and they sent a portion of the Guion Miller Roll, 1909-1910 from the Eastern Cherokee Roll. I found a Martha Berry on that roll, but could not connect her to our family. That just shows that I don't have enough facts to do so! Maybe you have some facts that I don't have. If so, please let me know! Author: MaryHarmon28 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.arkansas.counties.columbia/1572.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I have a HARMON family that moved there around 1906. His name was David Lee Harman (transcribed as "Daniel" sometimes). He was b. 28 Aug 1878 in Lexington County, S.C. His wife's name was Jo Anna Snelgrove b. Jan 1882. I have identified (6) children through census research but there may have been more. I have also looked at the Columbia County, AR Marriage Index and believe I have collateral names of THOMPSON & LEWIS. I was hoping someone would know if the Genealogy Society had done a survey of Columbia County, AR Cemeteries. I don't have a cemetery name. What I was going to do is buy a copy and look for the surname "HARMON". Per the SSDI a Murray J. Harmon (08 Dec 1901 - May 1978) was still in Columbia County when he died. Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate it. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
