They lived in Cleveland County and most of the family is buried in the Kennedy Cemetery, Cleveland County. Peggy's line is of this same Greenville Childers line. My husband's Childers was John Childers who became John Childress after moving from GA to TX. He was married to Anna Jordan. John Childers' father was William J. Childers, born 1804, SC.
