A request for the Cleveland County Website, If any of you have one of a kind records.....say a family Bible or a letter that was handwritten by your ancestor, consider scanning it and allowing us to add it to our site. You never know who it might help. If you don't own a scanner, we could work something out, I'm sure. :) We would like to add these types of documents to the site. Marriage records, wills and such are good, but they are accessible already at courthouses and the History Commission for the most part. If you have an obituary of someone from Cleveland County that was missing in what is online, please let me know so I can add it. Also, the Cleveland County Library is asking anyone who graduated from a county school, to consider donating their school yearbook(s). Sometimes they have good information and are sometimes requested of patrons doing research. If they have personal messages written in them that you wouldn't want widely read, maybe we could copy them for you, so you could keep them, and somehow cover them up before we shelve them.
