Arkansas Gazette, April 26, 1904: Mrs. B.M. Parnell, who died in Cleveland county recently, was the mother of 13 children, and she lived to see all of them married. She was 60 years old. Ark. Gazette November 23, 1905: Mrs. Cornelia Steadman, who was the wife of the station agent at Bingen, I.T., and was shot and instantly killed by robbers there recently, formerly resided in Cleveland county, Arkansas. She was a daughter of T.A. Calloway. Ark. Gazette Nov. 10, 1905, New Edinburg, Nov. 9 - John Hollis of this county, an old resident, died last night. Ark. Gazette, Nov. 27, 1906, Warren, Nov. 26 - The dead body of Gerald Hollis, a son of J.H. Hollis, who lives near Orlando, was yesterday morning found in an old enclosure about half a mile from his home. He left home Saturday, November 17, to work on some timber on Saline river. On the following morning he took a severe chill and started for home and that was the last that was seen of him until his body was found yesterday. It is supposed that he had a congestive chill and wandered to the place where he died. Ark. Gazette, May 28, 1924, Pine Bluff, May 26 - Mrs. Leona Cash, aged 37, wife of Dave Cash, sheriff of Cleveland county, died at a local hospital this afternoon. She is survived by her husband, parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.F. Foster of Rison, and five children, Marie, Cora, Doris, Otis and Mildred Cash. The body will be taken to Rison for burial. Ark. Gazette, Dec. 5, 1924 - Mrs. W.T. Hendrickson, aged 38, died at her home near the Hollis Special school Monday.
