Eagle Dem. April 19, 2000 Mary Linda Singer-Reiser, age 53, of Port Orange, Florida, died Saturday, April 15, 2000. She was born December 9, 1946, in Warren, a daughter of the late Roy Jefferson and Catherine Singer of Warren. She was the granddaughter of the late Harrison and Alma Cox of New Edinburg. She graduated from New Edinburg High School. She attended the University of Arkansas and was active in writing grants to aid the development of spousal abuse shelters in Southeast Arkansas. She was a member of First Baptist Church of South Daytona where she was the Director for Women on Mission and taught the Hope Sunday School Class. Survivors include her husband, Robert Reiser; 1 brother, Roy Singer of Port Orange, 11 nieces and nephews, and 10 cousins located in Arkansas. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. at Bellevue Cedar Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Barton officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hills Memory Gardens.
