Rose Hill is located on Hwy 114 from about the Rose Hill Deer Camp past the turnoff that would take you to the old Rose Ranch. This "turnoff" to the right (if you're traveling east) is a gravel road (which is now gated). Rose Hill School was directly across Hwy 114 from the turnoff. New Hope Baptist Church is located in the Rose Hill Community. Diane and Russell White also live in this area. Centreville is/was located about a mile west of the present Rowell Community on Hwy 63/15. If one knows where the old Rowell Store (once owned by Clyde and Reason Boyd and recently torn down) was located, turn west on the county road (across the highway from the old store) and follow the road (mostly gravel) until Corral(?) Road, turn left on Corral Road and follow it to the fork (clearing). This clearing is approximately the site of Centreville. There was once a school, hotel, store, and a Civil War "hospital" (Mulberry Creek Hospital) located on/near the site. Centreville was located on the old road, now impassable, which ran from Pine Bluff to the Mt. Elba Crossing on the Saline River (roughly north and south). If one could continue west at the fork, this would lead you back to the Rose Hill Community on Hwy 114. Going back across Hwy 63/15 the road also ran beside the old Rowell (Boyd) Store to Cornersville in Lincoln County.
