HENRY HOLCOMB "Brother Henry Holcomb was born November 17, 1832, in Shelby County, Tennessee. His parents were Asa and Mary Holcomb. He moved with his parents to Arkansas in 1836 and located in Greene County (now Clay County) where Boydsville is now. He married Esenieth Forrest in 1850. To this union eleven children were born. After the death of Esenieth, he married Sarah F. Meredith 1869, who bore nine children to him. He professed faith in Christ and was baptized by Peter Nicholas for New Hope Church in 1852 and was ordained a deacon in 1858. As a singer he was excelled by only a few. This ability was shown in many of the family. He served a total of 23 years as the clerk of the association, eight years in the Bethlehem Association and fifteen years after the name was changed to Gainesville. He was the father of J. R. Holcomb. He passed away in 1917 and is buried in the Holcomb Cemetery east of Pollard, Arkansas." I agree that your "Pickett" is probably "Piggott". There is also an article on J. R. Holcomb in the book if you would like to have that. Hope this helps. Mabel.
