The Piggott Times, May 27,1998 Dolly Fleener Rogers, 85 of Doniphan, formerly of Kennett, died at 4:20 am, Friday, May 8, 1998 at the Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan, where she had been a patient three months. She had been a resident of the Current River Nursing Center at Doniphan since 1994. Born in Elsberry, MO., May 24, 1912, she was the only shild of Walter OTTO and Mary FLEENER. The family moved to Kennett in her early life. In 1940 at Kennett, she married Orville Glen ROGERS of Piggott, who preceded her in death in 1993. She waws a member of the Slicer Street Church of Christ in Kennett for many years and attended the Doniphan Church of Christ as long as her health allowed. At the Kennett congregation she was an active member of teh Dorcas Class and ladies' groups. Survivors include two daughters and families, Margaret and Wilford BONNELL of Doniphan and Mary and Jim PRICE of Van Buren; two granddaughters and families, Kim and Daryl HERMAN of Springfield, MO., and Kendra and Robert PROPST of Cleveland, Ohio; and one greatgrandson, Chase HERMAN of Springfield, MO. Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 10, in the funeral home chapel by Steve SANDERS. Interment was at 3:30 p.m. in Memorial Gardens in Kennett.
