>From the Centennial Edition of the Clay County Courier. Cal Woodall moved to Clay County before it was Clay County, in 1872. Had at least one child. A daughter who married a Dudgeon. One of their daughters, Bertha Dudgeon, came back, in 1885, to teach in the school. It was west of Richwoods. E. D. Estes had a subscription school for two or three years in the Woodall Community. He gave it up in 1879. As late as 1943 there was still a school at Woodall. It was on a bus route with Heelstring and Richwoods. Some mentions of the Woodall family but nothing more on the school.
