The Piggott Times, June3, 1998 Mozell JOHNSON, 92, of Piggott, died Monday, June 1, 1998, in the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell. She was born on Nov. 18, 1905, in Campbell, the daughter of the late Isaac Lillard ALLEN and Margaret Elizabeth KRAMER. She was united in marriage on Nov. 11, 1922 to Thomas Floyd JOHNSON, who preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1990. To this union one daughter was born. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Anita HOGARD; one brother, John ALLEN; and one sister, Catherine CONNER. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church since 1932. She is survived by one granddaughter, Judy DAVIS and husband, Joe, of Piggott; one great granddaughter, Mona DAVIS of Piggott; one great grandson, Terry DAVIS and wife, Sheila, of Piggott; two great-great grandchildren, Luke and Jarrod DAVIS; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation was held at 5:30 pm Tuesday, June 2. Funeral services were held at 1 pm Wednesday, June 3, 1998, in the New Hope Baptist Church in Pollard with Loy CULVER officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard with Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Melivin HOLIFIELD, Mitchell HOLIFIELD, Ted HARMON, Fred GROSS, Francis BARE and Johnny HOWELL.
