Corning Courier Aug. 7, 1909 Our Faculty Now Complete ======================== O. E. Williams, who was selected by the school board,as principal of the Corning public and high school, has resigned that position, and Prof. G. C. Woodson, an experienced teacher of more than 25 years, has been named to fill the vacancy. Prof. Woodson comes to us from Fairland, Okla., although he was principal of the Marianna, Ark., schools for 4 years, and was identified with Texas schools for 20 years. Prof. Woodson was here this week, and made arrangements for board for himself and two children, who are of school age, and will be here and open school, Monday, Sept. 27. The faculty of the Corning school is now complete, and is as follows: G. C. Woodson, principal, Fairland, Okla.; Miss Virgia Redwine, first assistant, Newport; Miss Marie Hvizdalek, South Dakota; Miss Comora Reid, Conway; Mrs. Etta Motsinger, Rector; Miss Fannie Burns, Corning; Miss Bess Jane Graham, Springdale; Mrs. Estella Westbrook, primary, Corning.
