DO NOT HIT REPLY PLEASE RESPOND TO: ohimcky@pacbell.net Looking for descendants of Dr Isaac H CUNNING & Bettie QUERTERMOUS, of Knobel--they were married in DeWitt, AR Co, AR--16 Sep 1903--and promptly moved to Knobel where Ike had a "drug store" and I believe, a private practice (thanx, Cathy!!). I know of only 2 children: Dorothy--born before 1910 in Knobel (census record very poor quality..) Stanton--born after 1910 I believe that Stanton died as a child, or at least before adulthood. I do not know what happened with Dorothy, and I don't think there were any more children to Ike & Bettie. Bettie was executrix of her mother's will--Willie Irene CANNON QUERTERMOUS, died 26 Apr 1924 in Gillett, AR, AR. She was given "enlarged photographs" of not only her mother, but also her father, William Stanton QUERTERMOUS, and of her maternal grandparents, Rev Daniel S CANNON & Joanna V GAILER. I hate to think those photos are lost or destroyed!! I'm hoping that someone may recognize this family, and be able to cue me in the right direction either to a living descendent of Dorothy, or to someone/someplace that may have these photos--I realize it's a 'shot in the dark', but you never know unless you ask...
