Ar Query Forum A new message, "Henry Whitaker," was posted by George Corder on Tue, 08 Dec 1998 The message reads as follows: ------------------------- Henry Whitaker spend most of his adult life in Clay Co., living in St. Francis as a young man, he married Ada Vincent. He was the son of William T. Whitaker who ran the flour mill in St.Francis in the early 1900's. He move to a farm near the old Langley school about 1910 and lived there until he died in 1935. Henry made his living by selling the produce he raised in the summer time on his small farm. Some called him "Mule" Whitaker because he had a favorite white mule named "Blue". But most knew him for his strawberrys that he peddled in his old Ford car. He was my grandfather whom I never saw and I am looking for a picture of him. If you know of any picture that exists of Henry Whitaker, and would share it, it would answer our prayers. George Corder HC 67 Box 178C Salem, AR 72576
