    3. February 6, 1909 The Courier Newspaper Corning, Ark. Death Angel Calls Mrs. J. O. Langdon. ===================================== Resident of Corning for More than 20 Years Passed Away Monday. Mrs. Celesture Caroline Langdon, the beloved wife of J. O. Langdon, died at her home in this city Monday morning at 6:30 o'clock, after a severe spell of neuralgia lasting only three days. Mrs. Langdon had been in poor health for some time past, and an urgent request of her husband to visit Hot Springs and also a hospital at Little Rock, in hopes of bringing her back to health, the dear wife and good mother preferred to remain at home with the family. In the death of Mrs. Langdon, she leaves a husband, two grown daughters, four small children and a host of friends. She was a devout member of the Christian church. She was married to J. O. Langdon, in 1886, and since that time she has been a constant resident of Corning. At the time of her death, Mrs. Langdon was 44 years and 16 days old. The funeral services were held at the Christian church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. W. Piland, after which the remains were laid to rest in Corning cemetery.
