( PARKS ) HERREN: Sallie Maggie Park Herren, 80 of Datto, passed away Friday at Community Hospital, Paragould. A daughter of the late Otis and Laconia Robinson Parks, she was born Oct. 14, 1891, in Clay County. A member of the Calvary Baptist Church, she was married to Arthur Park, Nov. 10, 1907. He preceded her in death in 1935; also 2 sons , Galen Howard and Maurice Clyde preceded her in death. She was then married to Soula Herren, Dec. 3, 1967. In addition to her husband, who resides at Datto, she is survived by 3 sons, Hewitt Park of Naylor, Mo.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Ella Lee Cummings of Bishop, Calif., and Mrs. Eloise Lingle of Sikeston , Mo.; 3 sisters, Mrs. Mattie Wilson of Datto, Mrs Lyda Keith of Pocahontas and Mrs. Loraine Reid of St. Louis; 2 step- sons, Hubert Herren of Datto, and Jack Herren of St. Louis; 3 step-daughters, Mrs. Eulala Pence of St. Louis, Mrs. Alta Hedge of Holcomb, Mo., and Mrs. Agnes McGown of Modesto, Calif.; 31 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren and a great- great grandchild. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday in Calvary Baptist Church, with burial following in Richwood Cemetery.
