He was stricken Wednesday while alone at home and was found unconscious by members of the family upon their return. Johnny was a cripple, his legs being useless. He was well known here as the boy who traveled in a goat wagon, his only means of self-propulsion being to walk on his hands and drag his body. Despite this handicap he traveled about extensively in his goat wagon, hunting, fishing and enjoying many other sports. Physicians reported that his illness was due to spinal trouble. He did regain consciousness after being stricken and his temperature mounted steadily to the end. The funeral was held Friday and the remains were interred in the Masonic cemetery. Rev. Knox Below conducted the services. CARD OF THANKS We wish to thank all our kind friends who so loyalty aided us in our bereavement the sickness and death of our beloved son and brother, Johnny Parks. May God's choices blessings be upon each of you. Otis Parks family. This is an automatically-generated notice.
