Corning Courier Corning, Ark. June 11, 1910 Mrs. Eliza Jackman was before Mayor Olivers court Wednesday afternoon, charged with raising a disturbance with her neighbor, Mrs. Robinson, on the east side. Eliza has been before the mayors court on several occasions in the past, and has generally had her way with the residents of that part of town, until she met Mrs. Robinson, who gave her what Patty gave the drum, a good, sound beating. Besides having a black eye, the Jackman woman had enough hair in a bundle, which she claimed was pulled from her head during the fight, to start a first-class hair store. She was fined $1 and costs, amounting to $11.60. And all is well.
