Hi Debbie; I am still looking for my great grandfather, John Richard Lewis/Louis and my gr grandmother Sarah Frances "Frances" Snider Lewis. I was told that she died around Pocahontas in Randolph Co., AR in 1906 from childbirth and wondered if maybe they might both be buried in New Hope. My mother had told me that John was buried in Rocky Hill Cemetery and I think you found a John Lewis buried there and a Jacob Lewis. I was at Rocky Hill last fall and I found a headstone for Jacob Lewis but nothing for John, which doesn't mean he isn't there of course. I am pretty sure that the one you found is him. I know he died in Campbell at my gr aunt, Gracie Agnes Lewis Vinson's, home on May 11, 1933. But I got his DC and on it, it says that he was buried in New Hope Cemetery in AR and on his Funeral record it says he was buried in Pollard AR. So I am trying to find out for sure if he is there or if they decided for some reason at the last minute to bury him in Campbell. And I am trying to find out if that Jacob Lewis buried in Rocky Hill might be John's father also. Or at least related to him. Any help would be appreciated. Charlotte By accidental means I found my inventory listing for New Hope Cemetery. I looked through it for any mention of a Lewis individual but found none. I went through it twice and in doing so I looked for a couple of names that I know have gravestones but they weren't listed. So I think I'm missing part of the inventory which now I'm trying to think where I might have put it at any time. When I find the other pages I'll look through them. Don't give up yet somehow we'll going to find John and his wife. Debbi ____________________________________________________________________________________ We won't tell.
