DUFF, Scott, MI, was born in Success, March 16, 1928, daughter of James and mary WILLIS VANNADA. She died Sunday, April 15, 2007. She was 79. A member of the General Baptist Church, she was employed over 30 years with W.L. Moulding. She is survived by two children, Mary (Al) ARENDT, Tampa, FL., and Roger (Cynthia) DUFF, Paw Paw, MI.; daughter inlaw, Linda (Jeff) BUNCH, Allegany, MI., 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; two sisters, Holly BARKS, Kalamazoo, MI and Virgie (Jake) RICHARDSON, Corning; 3 brothers, Elmer (Phyllis) VANNADA, Delmer (Linda) VANNADA and Wayne (Barb) VANNADA all of Corning; nieces, Retha FRYE, Climax, MIl and Dolly ROGERS, Poplar Bluff, MO. and severl other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank S. DUFF (1981); son, Larry DUFF (2002); brother Myron and three sisters, Georgia "Lena", Lorreen and Vera. Services Thursday, April 19 in Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel. Burial in South Portage Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the General Baptist Church. ALMA FAYE McNEELY Alma Faye McNEELY was born Oct. 25, 1928 in Boydsville, daughter of James and Flora COX McKENNY. She died Sat. April 14, 2007 in Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, Paragould. She was 78. February 5, 1948 she married James Don McNEELY in Piggott. A lifelong resident of Pollard, she was a retired factory worker, homemaker and seamstress. She was affiliated with Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors are one son, Don L. (Debby) McNEELY, Pollard; one daughter, Carol (Robert) RHEIN, Jonesboro; 6 grandchildren, Jerri RHEIN SEABAUGH, Andrew RHEIN, Misty McNEELY, Jason RHEIN, Robin RHEIN BAXTER and Willy McNEELY; one great grandchild, Suzanne Elise SEABAUGH; two brothers, Roy McKENNY, Rector and Oscar McKENNY, St. Louis; one sister, Lois WILLIAMS, Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Don McNEELY (1991); daughter Janet KRINER; two brothers; two sisters. JESSE JUNIOR HOGAN Jesse Junior HOGAN was born in Poplar Bluff, Oct. 2, 1965 to Junior D. and Birdie BUCHANAN HOGAN. He died in Westwood Hills Health Care, Poplar Bluff, MO. Tuesday, March 20, 2007. He was 41. A skidder driver for Baccus Sawmill, he was a former resident of the Neelyville area. Survivors include two sons, Shawn HOGAN and Dustin HOGAN, both of Naylor, MO.; his mother, Birdie HOGAN, Neelyville; three sisters, Connie (Gregg) SMITH, Neelyville, Susie TINKER, Coon Island and Trudy (Mark) TAYLOR, Neelyville; two brothers Teddy HOGAN, Neelyville and James HOGAN, Naylor; several nieces and nephews. Burial in Kinsey Cemetery near Harviell under the direction of Sullivan Memorial Chapel. LEO PIPPIN Leo PIPPIN was born in Success Nov. 21, 1931 to Fleek and Ella Minnie STORY PIPPIN. He died in Dallas Veteran's Hospital, Dallas, TX, March 18, 2007. He was 75. He was a trucker and a veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include two sons, Gary (Diane) MAUPIN, Kent, OH, Leo Ray (Mary Ann) PIPPIN, Ottawa, KS; two daughters, Margie (David) McCORMICK, Marshfield, MO and Nadine (Daniel) THURSBY, Ferris, TX; one brother Bobby Joe (Lillian) PIPPIN, Arnold, MO.; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. COZAD, Rockford, IL., was born Nov. 15, 1936 in Craighead County, daughter of Glenville and Velma Lee GIBSON McFARLIN. She died in Swedish-American Hospital Tuesday, March 20, 2007. She was 70. A student of Richwoods School and a graduate of Corning High School, she married Raymond COZAD, Jan. 21, 1956. She was a member of North Park Church of Christ. Survivors are her husband, Raymond; one son, Alan (Chris) COZAD, Rockford; one daughter, Rebekah (Roger) BLACKBURN, Colorado; grandchildren, Elijah and Isaiah COZAD; five brothers, Sydney (Shirley) McFARLIN, Leonard (Mercedes) DARR, Kenny (Helen) DARR, Larry (Sheila) DARR and Dennis McFARLIN; sisters Norma Jo (C.J.) WHITE, Mary (Jerry) PELTS; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Regina SEIFERT. LOGAN LUYE Logan Matthew LUYE, 12, passed from this earth and joined his family in heaven on March 29, 2007 at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Logan was born with his twin brother on Sept. 14, 1994. He was the loved son of Scott LUYE and Sally ATTEBERY NOSSETT. Logan was a life-long student of Naylor Elementary School. He enjoyed school to its fullest and was loved and admired by teachers and fellow classmates. Logan spent much of his free time drawing comics, playing on the internet, reading, riding four-wheelers and fishing with his dad. He and his brother liked to ride bikes and skateboards. Logan loved his cats, Sassy and Salt and all his fish. Logan is survived by his twin, Christian LUYE and older brothers, Josh and Zach LUYE. His grandparents are Ralph ATTEBERY and the late Peggie ATTEBERRY and Linda and Homer THOMEN and the late George LUYE, all of Naylor. Logan will be missed by his niece, Hannah, his sister inlaw, Sonya and many aunts, uncles and cousins. CLEVELAND WIGGINS Cleveland William WIGGINS, Doniphan, MO was born January 13, 1941 in St. Louis to Paul Douglas WIGGINS and Mae LAIRD WIGGINS. He died Friday, March 23, 2007 in Landmark Hospital, Cape Girardeau, MO. He was 66. A U.S. Army veteran who served in Germany, he worked in the steel industry and was a member of the Doniphan Eagles Club and enjoyed auctions and doing woodwork. He was married to the former Dorothy WILKIE of Gatewood, MO and she survives. Also surviviing are 3 sons, John Michael WIGGINS of Corning, Terry Lynn WIGGINS of Doniphan and Cleveland Jason WIGGINS of Gatewood; two daughters, Tina Marie LANGLEY and Kelli Ann VASQUEZ of Doniphan; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, evelyn HEATH of Reno, NV and Zella Mae EAVES and Ellen Jane MARLER of Potosi, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sons, James Levon WIGGINS, Paul Douglas WIGGINS and William Brian WIGGINS; one brother Levon WIGGINS and one sister, Ruth Ann WIGGINS. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 7, 2007 in Oak Ridge Church of God under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home, Doniphan. GARY WEAVER Gary WEAVER was born August 9, 1945 in Corning so of William Freeman and Leda Mae GRISSOM WEAVER. He died March 27, 2007 in VA Hospital's John COCHRAN Medical Center, St. Louis, MO. He was 61. Employed at L.A. Darling, Co., he was of the Pentecostal faith. He married Joyce Lee BRYANT WEAVER on July 5, 1974 and she survives. Other survivors include 3 sons Patrick GARRETT and Lee GARRETT both of Poplarville, MS, Richard GARRETT, Poplar Bluff, MO; 3 daughters, Mary Jane MILLER, christy WOODARD and Melinda WEAVER all of Corning; 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. BILL HANCOCK Bill HANCOCK was born in Knobel June 22, 1925 to Edward M. and Tommie Lee QUARLES HANCOCK. He died in St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center, Jonesboro, April 2, 2007. He was 81. A veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II, he retired as manager of Farm Service, Inc. and served for over 20 years on Clay County Quorum Court. He was of the Baptist faith. June 20, 1950 he married his wife, Betty. She survives. Other survivors are two sons, Clyde (Pat) HANCOCK, Peach Orchard, Clinton (Mary) HANCOCK, Knobel; one brother, John HANCOCK, Knobel; two grandchildren Angie (Chris) PEZZEE, Seattle, WA. and Curt (Jackie) HANCOCK, Marion; three stepdaughters Joella (Jim) WOLPERS, Poplar Bluff, MO. Jamie WESTON, Jonesboro, Jennifer HALL, Pocahontas; three great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers Lee HANCOCK, Bobby Joe HANCOCK, Raymond Martin HANCOCK and Harry Sloan HANCOCK. NYAL FITZGERALD Nyal FITZGERALD was born in Knobel May 19, 1939 son of Clarence Columbus and Lena Laura BURNS FITZGERALD. He died March 11, 2007 in his home at Knob. He was 67. Retired from L.A. Darling Co., he was a homebuilder and attended Rock Springs Untied Methodist Church. August 18, 1962 he married his wife Linda and she survives. Other survivors include 3 daughters, Shelly (Gary) GILBEE, Boydsville, Dana (John) McDOWELL, Paragould, Krista Nyal (Jeffrey) OSBORN, Bartlett, TN.; 6 grandchildren, Eric, Catrina and Zachary GILBEE, Heather and Natalie McDOWELL, Matthew OSBORN; 2 brothers Vaughn FITZGERALD, Rockford and Rex FITZGERALD, Biggers; one sister Rita PEMBERTON, Corning. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Eugene, Dewey and Don FITZGERALD. Services were conducted Wednesday, March 14, 2007 in Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark MASSEY officiating. Burial in Cummins Chapel under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home. OPAL CALHOUN Opal LAMBORN CALHOUN was born in Iowa City, Iowa, September 22, 1921, daughter of Elmer and Bertha HUBBELL BURKETT. She died in her home in Corning March 28, 2007. She was 85. A homemaker and of the Baptist faith, she is survived by three sons, Wayne LAMBORN, Corning, Dale LAMBORN, Midland, TX, Troy LAMBORN, Quincy, IL; four daughters, Betty BASS and Mae KIRBY both of Corning, Minnie CRAFT, Batesville, Pat LAMBORN, Oklahoma City, OK; 22 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands, Charles LAMBORN (1972) and Walter CALHOUN (1981); her parents; four children, Curtis LAMBORN, Jay LAMBORN, Gene LAMBORN and Crystal SUTTON.
