He died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 in Wichita, Kansas. He was 64. He was a Boeing Aircraft reliability engineer of Wichita, Kansas. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Leoma REID KNOWLTON; two daughters, Tammy and Pamela KNOWLTON, all of Wichita, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers, Junior, Cratis and Norman KNOWLTON all of Succes, Carl KNOWLTON , Conway, Buren KNOWLTON, Doniphan, MO and Robert "Bob" KNOWLTON, Ocala, Florida. GARY CHRISTIAN Gary CHRISTIAN was born in Palatka to William E. and Frances Ellen MORGAN CHRISTIAN August 13, 1949. He died in Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, Paragould, February 7, 2007. He was 57. A welder by trade, he loved feeding his catfish and working in his garden. Survivors include six sons, Johnny CHRISTIAN, Rockford, IL , Tony KNOWLTON, Bentley KNOWLTON and William CHRISTIAN all of Paragould, Kurt CHRISTIAN and Travis CHRISTIAN both of Dyer; 6 daughters, Shonette DECKER and Autumn CHRISTIAN both of Ft. Smith, Kerrie PLUMMER, Spiro, OK, Toya CHRISTIAN, Ft. Smith, Vickie CHRISTIAN and Shelly CHRISTIAN both of Rockford, IL; two sisters Treena RILEY, Louisville, KY and Sharon CAMPBELL, Corning; one brother, Jerry HARRIS, Corning; one brother in-law, Gary WILSON, Corning; 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. He was born June 30, 1935 in McDougal, son of the late Ralph and Norma Ora BAKER REED. He is survived by his children, Rema, Carla, Sandy and Dana RUSSELL (Son-in-law); grandchildren, Kristal, Jesse, Carlos, Mary and Timothy; 11 great-grandchildren; former wife, Mary Sue REED; two brothers, Nathaniel and Larry; four sisters, Norma, Juanita, Barbara and Carol; and many other relatives and friends. SONNY RICHARDSON William Olin "Sonny" RICHARDSON, Jr., River Ridge, Louisiana, was born in Moark Nov. 13, 1934 to Olin and Myrtle RICHARDSON. He died Oct. 26, 2006. He was 71. His family lived in the Corning area for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had recently retired from his job at a hospital in Louisiana. He is survived by wife, Anne; sons, Mark and Todd; daughter, Kim; one granddaughter, al who reside in Louisiana; and one sister, Erma CARTER, Lynnville, TN. NORMA FORRISTAL Norma Leona FORRISTAL was born in Success, Aug. 2, 1905, daughter of the late Calvin Sylvestoer and Octavia Leuticia WELLS STACKHOUSE. She died in Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. She was 101. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas Alexander FORRISTAL; two brothers and five sisters. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. ONA FAE COLEY Ona Fae CLARK COLEY, 84, resident of Walla Walla, WA. died Feb. 5, 2007 at Park Manor Rehailitaion Center after a lengthy illness. One of 13 children, Mrs. COLEY was born Nov. 23, 1922 in Pocahontas to Francis Marion and Susan Frances PEARCE CLARK. At a young age she and her family moved to the Peach Orchard area where she attended school and played basketball and graduated from Delaplaine High School in 1942. On Feb. 26, 1946 she and Chester W. COLEY married in St. Louis, MO. He died in 2005. In 1948 they moved to Walla Walla, WA. She was a member of Eastgate Missionary Baptist Church. She worked a a retail clerk for Wade's Thriftway for many years and enjoyed spending time with her church's youth camp helping to cook at the summer camp held in the Blue Mountains. Survivors include a sister, Alene KRIGBAUM of Jonesboro; five sisters-in-law; Faye CLARK of Kennewick, WA, Doris CLARK of Corning, Dennis BOOTH of Susanville, CA, Dorothy COEY of St. Louis, MO and Charline ANZALON of Piggott; one brother-in -law, Harold MAPLE of Knobel; many nieces and nephews and the many friends she made over her lifetime. ORBE STRANGE Orbe STRANGE, Corning, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007 in Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, Paragould. He was 75. A retired U.S. Army soldier and of the Baptist faith, he was born in Pocahontas on March 19, 1931 to Jess and Pearl ARTHUR STRANCE. He married Bertha May SELLS STRANGE on Jan. 1, 1980 and she survives. Funeral services Tuesday, Feb. 13 in Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. He was preceded in death by three brothers. LARRY PURDOM Larry Monroe PURDOM, Florissant, MO was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, March 5, 1954. He died in Florissant Sat., Feb. 10, 2007. He was 52. He attended Naylor High School where he played sports. He worked in construction in the Naylor area most of his life and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two sisters, Sue PURDOM and Karen PURDOM, both of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Gary PURDOM, N. Carolina and Robert PURDOM, Florissant, MO. MARY KATHERINE SMITH Mary Katherine SMITH, Corning, was born April 7, 1932 to Benjamin Roy and Susan Matilda JUSTICE BLANKENSHIP. She died Feb. 10, 2007 in Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was 74. An employee for AT&T, she was affiliated with Shiloh Baptist Church. March 8, 1952 she married William "Bill" SMITH and he survives.
