Surnames: bone Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GV.2ADE/1898.1.2.1.1.1 Message Board Post: hello, yes, i tried to find an obit, but peach orchard is close to corning, and any obit would have been in the corning paper. i live in greenway which is near piggott. we are on the other side of the county. i found marion in the cemetery lists for clay county. i think the last ones were read in the early 80's . that may be why there seems to be no wife listed. i found other people named bone, but all in the wrong area and wrong first names. they were in the rector area cemeteries. rector isn't too far from greenway, in fact my husband was raised there. the first names were- bertie, charley, christopher, emaline, t. j., lottie, william edward, oh, i did find one in the corning cemetery-mary l. born 22-april-1866- died -19-dec-1922. i had a thought today. i tried to call the funeral home in corning. it's the only one there that i know of. peach orchard and alot of the small towns nearby may have had to use it if there wasn't one in their town. i was going to ask if they had ! been in business in the early 1920's. they might look in their records to see if any other bone's were there. today i got their answering service. i'll try again next week.
