Thank you. I will follow this up. The 1900 census is where the information I need disappears. I have Elizabeth Easley on the 1900 federal census, for Johnson Township, Clay county, Ark. She is listed as the head of the family with her 4 children and 1 grandchild living with her. She did come into ARK from MO between 1872 and 1880. but the name of J.N.'s children do not match Elizabeth's. Elizabeth did list the birthplace of the children's father as Tennessee. Do you know is there a way to access birth records for Ark. 1880-1900? Barbara L Howard <[email protected]> wrote: This may just be "a shot in the dark" ,but I have been researching the Easley family for an Easley descendent. I first document this family n the 1910 Randolph County,AR Census,as follows: Easley,J.N. age 58,brn.TN. came to Arkansas in 1881. 5 children. Andy Arthur Lula Cora Ida. Cora Easley married Dr. James Mc Quay, abt: 1894/5.She is Buried in Lawrence County,AR. she and Dr. Mc Quay are my cousins connections. The Easleys were still in Randolph County on the 1912 Tax list. If any of this rings a bell,Would be happy to share what I have .
