He died in Shepherd of the Hills Nursing Facility, Kendallville, IN after a lingering illness Saturday, July 28, 2007. He was 95 years old. He married Virginia CHANDLER MEYER, December 1938. She preceded him in death in 1986. He farmed in Butler, IN for many years. He was a musician and loved to entertain others with musical talent. He is survived by two sons, Lynn MEYER, Kendallville, IN and Bill MEYER, Noblesville, IN; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret ELLIOTT, Corning and Grace BUNCICH, Crown Point, IN. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents; two brothers, baby Adrian and Robert MEYER of New Philadelphia, OH; one sister, June DADO, Whiting, IN; maternal and paternal grandparents. EMMA J. HILLENBURG Emma Jane ALLISON HILLENBURG, Pocahontas, was born in Biggers, Jan. 6, 1915, daughter of Frank and Alice HILL ALLISON. She died in Randolph County Nursing Home, Pocahontas, Sunday, July 26, 2007. She was 92. A homemaker and of the Baptist faith, she married Hughey A. HILLENBURG October 15, 1939. She is survived by one son, Jonnie (Cleather) HILLENBURG, England; one daughter, Zona FOLEY, St. Charles, MO; three sisters, Carrie LUTER, Rockford, IL, Beatrice (Dalton) FARRELL and Alice (W.B.) KILLOUGH, both of O'Fallon, MO; four grandchildren Sherry (Andy) ROBERTSON, Little Rock, Frank HILLENBURG, England, Allison FOLEY, St. Charles, MO and Warren FOLEY, St. Charles, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Frank and Alice ALLISON MOLLENCUPP; one grandson, Hughey Ray FOLEY; seven brothers, Frank ALLISON and Paul, Oscar, Chester, Jess, Dave and James MOLLENCUPP and five sisters Paulin SHOEBERG, Gladys ALLISON, Bobby Jean MOLLENCUPP, Goldie EDDINGTON and Cora CAVENOR. Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 30, 2007 in Biggers Baptist Church with Tommy MEADLY and Don HEWITT officiating. Burial in Bond Cemetery, Knobel, unde the direction of Ermert Funeral Home of Corning. Memorial may be made to Knobel Cemetery Association. TERRY KARNES Terry Dewayne KARNES, Corning, was born in Piggott August 11, 1951 son of Denzil Roy and Ethel (NIXON) KARNES. He died in Piggott Community Hospital July 27, 2007. He was 55. He was a veteran, a farmer and of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors are his wife, Penny KARNES, Corning; three sons, Tommy Ray (Amanda) KARNES, St. Louis, Terry Dewayne "T.J." KARNES, Jr., Corning; one daughter Sandy (Scott) WAREING, Paragould; one sister, Marcia (Kenny) TYLER, Pollard; two brothers, Alvin "Bud" (Tammy) KARNES and Denny Lynn "Skeeter" KARNES, both of Fenton, MO; six grandchildren, Danielle KARNES, St. Louis, Ashley KARNES, St. Louis, Sky GUY, Corning, Marc WARING, Paragould, Isabella "Issy" KARNES, St. Louis, Bethany WAREING, Paragould. He was preceded in death by his parents, Denzil KARNES and Ethel KARNES-GUTHERY. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. EATHEL CHAPPELL Eathel (DOBBINS) CHAPPELL was born October 24, 1924 in Hickoria to William Osborn and Julie Ann (CLEMONS) DOBBINS. She died in Dixon, IL Sunday July 26, 2007. She was 82. She married Wilburn CHAPPELL September 4, 1943. He preceded her in death November 6, 2000. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one son Jerry F.
